Real-world validation

Every figure EX10D publishes comes from an instrumented vehicle operating in service, measured against its own recorded baseline.

Programme one

Hyundai Palisade — 10,000 km diesel evaluation

A diesel Palisade was run over 10,000 km in ordinary road service with fuel and thermal instrumentation. The programme recorded peak fuel reduction of 59.2% and a sustained reduction of 48.3%, with exhaust gas temperature falling from 133.5°C to 69.0°C.

The temperature result is the important corroboration: a fuel figure alone can be explained by driving variance, but a halving of exhaust gas temperature under matched load points to a change in combustion behaviour itself.

Programme two

Mazda 6GT — four independent trials

Four controlled trials were conducted by an independent government tester, producing fuel reductions between 9% and 36.2% depending on load, route and ambient conditions.

The spread is deliberately published rather than averaged away. It is the honest picture of how the effect varies with duty cycle, and it is why fleet programmes begin with the operator's own baseline rather than a headline number.

Programme three

Urban fleet validation framework

For multi-vehicle urban fleets, validation is structured as a matched-pair framework: treated and untreated assets running the same routes, loads and drivers over the same period, with fuel, thermal and maintenance data captured across both groups.
